While the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2, among several other things, were undoubtedly the stars of the show at the Cupertino-company’s special media event yesterday, Apple finally made a few welcomed changes to its iPad line of tablet computers that are sure to tickle the interests of those still holding out buying into the iPad craze.

The changes, which took effect over on Apple’s official website shortly after the unveiling of the company’s hot new gadgets, primarily have to do with the iPad’s storage capacity — but also with the device’s pricing, as well.

All things considered, the Cupertino-company’s iPad line, after the update, is now more in line with its new iPhone storage options — including a base-model iPad that now starts out at 32 GB, goes up to 128 GB, and on some units, caps out at 256 GB, much like the new iPhone 7.

For starters, Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which was released back in March of this year, is now available in a 32 GB option (with Wi-Fi) starting at just $599. Moreover, the 128 GB iteration of that model has been adjusted downwards to just $699, with the 256 GB, top-tier, option now being available for just $799. At the same time, the company’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro now starts out at the same $799 for a 32 GB model (with Wi-Fi), while the 128 GB and 256 GB models are now available for just $899 and $999, respectively.

The Wi-Fi + Cellular/LTE versions of these aforementioned devices have also dropped by $50 each.

The other iPad models have also been updated. The iPad Air 2, for instance, is now available in both 32 GB and 128 GB varieties, carrying the same $399 and $499 price tags, respectively. Also, for the same $399 or $499, you can also pick up an iPad mini 4 in either 32 GB or 128 GB variants. Finally, iPad mini 2 — the first to feature Apple’s iconic Retina Display — is offered in a 32 GB size for just $269.
