A More Optimized iOS 27

One of the biggest announcements for iOS 27 was how much more powerful it will make your iPhone. According to Apple itself, iOS 27 will make all devices faster across the board.

It also gave a couple of impressive examples. For starters, it was confirmed that iOS 27 will open apps up to 30% faster than iOS 26. Likewise, right after you take a picture, you’ll see it pop up in your library up to 70% faster. And files will transfer over 80% faster via AirDrop.

These are all impressive numbers, but, to be fair, we’ll still have to test it once the full version of iOS 27 is available, as early betas are always poor performers.

Still, a faster iPhone is always great news, especially because Apple also confirmed that all iPhones that currently support iOS 26 will also support iOS 27. That’s right, even your older iPhone 11 will get the benefit of a new, performance-focused update.
