Still not sure what you are going to be for Halloween? Here’s an easy and doable last minute idea: Steve Jobs, the biggest American Tech entrepreneur of our time. Why not pay tribute to one of the greatest minds in history by making him your Halloween costume? You may already have some of these items in your closet, and it won’t take long for people to guess who you are. So what do you need when putting this costume together? It’s actually very easy. Below we outline everything you will need to make a spot-on Steve Jobs Costume.

Black Mock Turtleneck

The first obvious thing you will need is a Black Mock Turtleneck. A mock turtleneck has only one layer of fabric rather than a double fold. Steve Jobs had rather expensive taste (spending over $200 on one shirt). However, if you don’t feel like shelling out serious cash any black turtleneck will do. You can purchase one here for just under $25.

Levi’s Jeans

The next thing you will need is a pair of Levi’s jeans. Steve Jobs didn’t spend much on his jeans, so you won’t have to splurge on yours for your costume. Just remember to look for a lighter to medium blue jeans. You can purchase here, for about $50.

Grey New Balance Shoes

For shoes, you will want a pair of black socks and some grey New Balance running shoes. Steve Jobs claimed that he wore these shoes since they were comfortable. If you have some grey sneakers, then this will probably do. However, if you want an authentic costume, you may want to purchase the exact brand here, although the price is pretty heft at about $170.

Costume Round Frame Glasses

Maybe you already wear glasses, in which case, great! You are already done with this part. However, a completely optional part to this costume is to get some small lenses and thin frame glasses. Something like the image below can be purchased here for just $5.

Bald Cap

Last but not least, a bald cap to tie everything together. This will definitely give the costume a nice touch! If you are already bald or have thinning hair then this will require no effort on your part! Of course, if you don’t feel like adding this to your costume then don’t worry about it taking away from the authenticity.

Viola! You are done! Easy right? This costume can be done with stuff you may already have at home, or can be taken to real extremes by getting serious copycat gear. Don’t forget to bring your iPhone or iPad to the party, just to complete the look.
