No One’s Repairing Your iPhone Anymore
There comes a time with any iPhone when repair shops might not have the necessary equipment to fix your old iPhone. Depending on where you live, Apple will continue providing parts for an iPhone for 5–7 years after it’s discontinued. Beyond that point, it’s considered “vintage” or “obsolete.”
You can go to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, and chances are they might be able to fix it. However, if not even Apple’s own stores can fix your iPhone, that’s a clear sign that your iPhone is far too old, and you should consider getting a new one.
