Apple has boldly done away with the 3.5 mm headphone jack, leaving audiophiliac iPhone users scrambling for alternatives. The new iPhones will ship alongside wireless earbuds called AirPods, which retail individually for around $159, along with an adapter for traditional earphones.

There’s much to be said for the high-tech AirPods, which can last over a day on a single charge (with help from the battery pack) and will use optical sensors and motion accelerometers to detect whether they’re in your ears and automatically stop and start playing accordingly. But if you’re in the market for something else, here are three great wireless headphone alternatives to AirPods.

1. Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones

To coincide with the announcement of the new iPhones, Beats has released a set of wireless headphones that come in typical iPhone colors: gloss black, gloss white, gold, rose gold, black, and silver. Owned by Apple, Beats is a natural first-choice when you’re in the market for iPhone headphones. The Solo3 wireless headphones are pricey, at around $300, but that’s the premium you pay for over 40 hours of Beats-quality playback and the trademark Beats look.

2. Bose SoundSport Wireless

Bose Soundsport

These earbuds, brought to you by the master craftsmen at Bose, have been hailed as one of the best wireless headphones of 2016 by CNET. The earbuds are sweat-resistant and fit snugly in your ear, making them perfect for those with active lifestyles. Retailing at $150, the SoundSport Wireless earbuds offer comfort and performance in a package that retails for slightly less than AirPods.

 3. Earin

Earin produces some of the best wireless earbuds around. They are very small, measuring 14.5x20mm and come with a metallic oblong case that wireless charges them whenever they’re placed inside. At $280, the Earin earbuds pack a lot of power into tiny capsules, each featuring two high-powered dedicated amps and noise cancelling foam.
