Cambridgeshire authorities say officers were alerted by a member of the public on the afternoon of Sunday, January 25, following the theft. Cops later stopped a white BMW, arresting the three passengers.

A 17-year-old Enfield boy has been charged with theft from a shop and breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order. Meanwhile, the other two alleged co-conspirators, a pair of 16-year-old males from London, have also been charged with theft from a shop.

iPad Facebook Marketplace Robbery

Police in Milwaukee have arrested a 17-year-old male for the theft of an iPad during a Facebook Marketplace sale meetup. Fox 6 Now reports the incident occurred on January 18.

The victim was selling an iPad on Facebook Marketplace and had agreed to meet a prospective buyer. After arriving, “a person wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and a blue mask came up to him and asked to see the device.” He then warned “Watch out, bro, give me everything,” before pulling a kitchen knife.

Surveillance video that caught the incident shows the assailant was wearing a Glock t-shirt with the slogan “No Gun No Fun.”

Police later arrested a suspect, after he was “identified by an officer who recognized him from prior incidents.” He now faces class C felony charges.

Texas Man Arrested for Two iPhone Thefts, One on Camera

A 24-year-old Texas man allegedly held a man at gunpoint who had met him to sell him an iPhone in Arlington. He was arrested on January 17 and charged with armed robbery.

Fox 4 News reports police say the same man had stolen a phone from a different victim in Keller, Texas just a few hours earlier. The second theft was caught on video.

Police noted that the seller in the Keller incident recorded the encounter, as he regularly posts videos of his transactions to share on Instagram, where he goes by the handle “iflipifones.”

Enjoy a Concert, Lose Your iPhone

While concert-goers enjoyed a December concert by post-hardcore emo group Silverstein at the Brooklyn Paramount theater, dozens reportedly had their iPhones stolen, reports The Guardian.

One of the victims says the thefts happened in a matter of seconds. “I must have [taken] my hand off my phone for, honestly, 10 seconds,” said one of the attendees, Zander Cammarata, who was near the stage and had recorded a video before putting the phone in his front pocket. “I remember just thinking to myself, ‘Oh, maybe I should have left it in my bag,’ which made me touch my pocket and to make sure it’s there, and sure enough, it’s gone.”

“It is well known that phone theft has unfortunately increased across popular events and at popular venues throughout NYC nightlife in the past 2 years,” Jacqui Rabkin of another Brooklyn venue, House of Yes, wrote in an email to the Guardian.

Jeffrey Epstein Once Gave a Lawyer an Apple Watch Hermès

Interesting anecdotes continue to surface as more of the Epstein Files are unsealed. In the latest data dump, a very expensive Apple Watch makes an appearance.

The Washington Free Beacon reports that newly released emails show that Jeffrey Epstein gave several expensive gifts to Kathryn Ruemmler, an attorney who served as White House counsel during the Obama Administration.

Among the gifts were “a $9,400 Hermès handbag, an Hermès-branded Apple Watch, and a spa treatment package at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington,” according to the publication.

It should be noted that Ruemmler has not been accused of any wrongdoing. However, she has denied she was ever compensated by the convicted sex offender.

Epstein appears to have been a big Apple fan, often receiving emails about Apple’s products, while also purchasing those products, often giving them as gifts. Epstein often used iPads, as several of the emails sent and received by Epstein were via iPads.
