Well, it looks like that exciting (though perhaps a bit loathed) time-of-year has dawned upon us once again where students around the country are graduating from school. On the other hand, those continuing their education can look forward to the 2017 academic year waiting patiently for them in the fall.

As most Apple fans know by now, it’s also the time-of-year where the Cupertino-company usually launches its annual ‘Back-to-School’ promotion. The Back-to-School promotion is a much sought after special sales event for students, where discounts on the most popular Mac computers — in addition to some sweet incentives — can be scored.

Available to eligible new or continuing, university or community college students, Apple’s highly anticipated annual event has launched just a bit ahead of schedule this year. As was the case last year, however, the company is currently offering students who purchase a qualifying (brand-new) iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, 12-inch MacBook, Mac mini, or Mac Pro a free pair of Beats Solo 2 wireless headphones. While, on the other hand, those who purchase an iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2, mini 4, or iPhone 6/6 Plus and above, will get a free pair of Powerbeats 2 headphones.

BEATS

The promotion, which is available through Apple’s online and retail stores, runs through September 5, 2016 — so your student has plenty of time to consider their options for purchasing a new Mac in order to score this sweet deal. Additionally, students will be eligible for great savings on these aforementioned systems in accordance with Apple’s special education pricing.

While it’s currently only available to eligible students in the U.S. and Canada, the promotion is also expected to launch soon in other, international markets — including Ireland, France, The U.K., Italy, Denmark, and more.

The deal is actually a nice incentive for students looking to buy a new and qualifying Mac, iPad, or iPhone. Apple’s Beats Solo 2 wireless headphones usually run $299.95 in the U.S. while the company’s Powerbeats 2 headphones run $199.95. Couple that, with Apple’s special Education pricing — which boasts discounts ranging from $25 to $200 or more (depending on your system or device of choice) — and you’re talking some pretty substantial savings, indeed.

Once you shop via Apple’s exclusive Education Store, adding a qualifying item to your cart, the promotional discount will automatically be applied.
