The iPhone 16 Will Feature a Larger Display
Numerous rumors have revealed that Apple will increase the size of several of its products this year. First, the iPad Air and iPad Pro are said to be getting larger displays. Likewise, the iPhone 16 lineup will also feature the biggest displays we’ve ever seen on an iPhone.
Unfortunately, this change will only be on the Pro models. According to the rumors, Apple will increase the size of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max to 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively. That’s a decent increase compared to the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays that have been the norm since the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
On the other hand, the base iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will keep the same 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays we’re already familiar with.
Speaking of the display, it seems Apple may also start using microlens technology on the OLED panel of the iPhone 16’s display. This new technology will provide a brighter display while also significantly decreasing power consumption.
