Apple’s next-generation iPhone is expected to land this fall with new features and a modern look.
To get a sneak peek at the new iPhone, YouTuber ConceptsiPhone and designer Mauro Battino took everything we know about the iPhone 12 Pro and packaged it into a slick concept video.
Here are five of the highlighted features Apple may bundle into the iPhone 12. See the video below.
Smaller Notch, Boxy Design
Apple’s iPhone 12 may have a smaller notch area as Apple tries to shrink this highly-contested screen space. The iPhone 12 also may have a retro look with boxy metal sides that’s similar to the frame on the iPhone 4.
Smaller Form Factor, Big Display
The entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12 also may package a full-size display into a smaller form factor that rivals the iPhone SE 2nd generation. This may be a popular option for customers who want to keep the size of their phone small, but the display big. The iPhone 12 Pro models will be larger-screen devices with a choice of either a 6.1-inch or a 6.7-inch screen.
New Color
Apple reportedly is replacing the Midnight Green with a new Navy Blue color option. It’ll be interesting to see if this color choice gains traction as the Midnight Green option was popular among consumers.
Quad Camera Layout
Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro is expected to one-up the iPhone 11, offering a powerful quad camera on the back. It’ll include the triple-lens camera of the iPhone 11 Pro and a new LiDAR scanner similar to the one on the new iPad Pro models. In the concept, the lenses are arranged in a square with the flash conveniently placed in the center.
Other Highlights
The iPhone 12 is expected to ship with Apple’s new A14 processor, 5G connectivity, 6GB of RAM, improved Face ID, and iOS 14.
