Apple Will (Likely) Reveal These 4 Things Alongside the iPhone 13 This September

Get excited, we're only a few weeks away from Apple's fall event(s)! And even though Apple hasn't confirmed that it will have an event this next month, many rumors point out that the company will go back to the traditional iPhone event this coming September. This means we're very close to finally seeing the iPhone 13 with our own eyes. Even better than that, Apple will not focus only on the iPhone 13 lineup this year – we may see two, three, or four other products launch during the September event or shortly after. Though all of this is speculation because no one but Apple knows what's going to happen for sure – but we can guess what we will see that day based on rumors and typical products that Apple still needs to launch. Continue reading to browse what Apple might launch alongside the iPhone 13 in September.
AirPods 3
Many rumors and reports claim that Apple will release the next-generation AirPods alongside the iPhone during the September event. If you're planning to buy some AirPods, you might be better off waiting a few weeks.
What will be special about this new AirPods is the complete design update, albeit it's not a never-before-seen design. According to the rumors, the new AirPods 3 will feature a similar design to the current AirPods Pro. This means that, on the outside, the AirPods three will have shorter stems and will feature ear tips instead of the current design.
If you don't like the ear tips, there have been rumors that Apple will add a way to use the AirPods without the tips, although it might be a bit of a stretch.
The charging case will also be different and similar to the AirPods Pro's case. On the inside, the AirPods 3 will have better connectivity, and it's expected that they'll have better sound. According to rumors, though, these AirPods won't feature Active Noise Cancellation.
Apple Watch Series 7
Last year, Apple released the Apple Watch Series 6 one month earlier than the iPhone 12. This year, however, it's possible that Apple might release them together. Unfortunately, for Apple Watch users, the Series 7 won't have many new features in the health department.
If you're looking for a design update, though, you're in luck. No, Apple won't make a rounded Apple Watch – instead, rumor has it the next Apple Watch will feature a flatter screen and boxy edges, giving it a similar design to the iPhone 12 or the 2021 iPad Pro.
Rumors also say that the Apple Watch will have a slightly thicker body. Regular users won't be able to tell the difference, but it'll give Apple enough room to add a slightly larger battery.
If you were looking to get the Apple Watch for the blood glucose sensor, I have bad news for you. This feature likely won't appear on the Series 7, and we should expect it—maybe—on the Apple Watch Series 8 next year.
Another product we might not see this year is a new Apple Watch SE. According to past rumors, Apple will skip this year, and it might not introduce a next-generation Apple Watch SE until next year as well.
iPad mini 6
It's been a really long time coming, but it seems that Apple will finally release a new iPad mini. And if the rumors are true, then we're about to see the biggest redesign to the iPad mini since it launched back in 2012.
Starting with the screen, the iPad mini would feature a wider 8.4-inch display, which is a great change from the 7.9-inch display the current generation features. However, Apple won't make the iPad mini bigger. Instead, the company might reduce the bezels to make the display bigger. It'll basically look like a mini iPad Pro, which is what we all want.
That means that Apple might ditch the Home button on the iPad mini as it did with the iPad Air last year. That also means that Apple might move the Touch ID sensor to the Power button, as it did with the iPad Air as well.
Rumors also say that Apple might add a USB-C port instead of Lightning.
On the inside, the iPad mini is said to feature the A14 chip, which is the same one on the iPhone 12 lineup.
Will We See One More Thing?
Apple may show us "one more thing," albeit it's possible that it's going to be one of the other products we just talked about. Even so, Apple still has a few products it can showcase during September's event. There are many products that have been rumored throughout this year, including the Apple Pencil 3, a new iPod touch, and even the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. With that said, we'll still have to wait and see. Until then, we can only hope Apple will surprise us with something we were never expecting.
