iPad mini 6
It’s been a really long time coming, but it seems that Apple will finally release a new iPad mini. And if the rumors are true, then we’re about to see the biggest redesign to the iPad mini since it launched back in 2012.
Starting with the screen, the iPad mini would feature a wider 8.4-inch display, which is a great change from the 7.9-inch display the current generation features. However, Apple won’t make the iPad mini bigger. Instead, the company might reduce the bezels to make the display bigger. It’ll basically look like a mini iPad Pro, which is what we all want.
That means that Apple might ditch the Home button on the iPad mini as it did with the iPad Air last year. That also means that Apple might move the Touch ID sensor to the Power button, as it did with the iPad Air as well.
Rumors also say that Apple might add a USB-C port instead of Lightning.
On the inside, the iPad mini is said to feature the A14 chip, which is the same one on the iPhone 12 lineup.
