New iPhone 14 Lineup
It’s probably a given at this point. Apple’s been releasing a new iPhone at the end of the year like clockwork for the last few years. Still, the new iPhone 14 might be one of the best releases just yet.
First, Apple’s planning on ditching the iPhone mini this year. Instead, the iPhone 14 lineup is said to feature two regular size iPhones with a 6.1-inch display—the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro—and two Max sizes with a 6.7-inch display—the iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
But perhaps the most significant change would be that Apple might skip the notch this year. It’s possible that the company will go for a hole-punch camera at the front and maybe an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Granted, there’s been a lot of speculation that Apple might delay this for another year due to manufacturing problems, but it’s still a possibility. If they didn’t do that, it is possible Apple would leave a small cutout near the front-facing camera for Face ID.
