4 Animoji
Discovered in the iOS 11 GM code for the very first time is what Apple has allegedly dubbed ‘Animoji’ — an emoji-based feature that will utilize the iPhone X’ 3D face sensors to “create custom 3D animated emoji based on the expressions you make into the camera,” according to 9to5mac.
Within iOS 11 GM’s code, the Animoji feature is described as ‘custom animated messages that use your voice and reflect your facial expressions’. The 3D emojis will reportedly embody the same 2D emoji templates from iOS releases past, but have been recreated in 3D for use exclusively on the iPhone X. At launch, iPhone X users will be able to make and send Animoji of everything from unicorns, to robots, pigs, chicken, dogs, pile of poo, and so many more of your favorite emojis.
