You Have Too Many Push Notifications
We all like to be kept up-to-date with everything we have going on in our lives. But aside from text messages and phone calls, do we really need to know about every Tweet? Or be reminded of our daily horoscope every morning? With each notification that comes in, our screen lights up, we hear a sound, and our Haptic Engine vibrates the phone. Each one of those notifications doesn’t make a massive difference at once, but they do add up.
Sometimes, we don’t even realize how many notifications are piling in. But every so often, take a look at how many notifications you have before unlocking your phone. They add up quick, and they can cause your battery to drain faster.
Think of which applications are really important to you, and what you need to keep up with. The rest of the applications should have their notifications removed or altered. There is a lot of options so dig in by going to Settings > Notifications and turn off anything you don’t need.
