Your iPhone might Overheat for no Reason
If you’re rocking the newer iPhone 15 Pro, your iPhone may be overheating for no apparent reason. Fortunately, Apple concluded that it was a software issue and not a hardware problem, and appears to have fixed it in iOS 17.0.3.
Another reason why this was happening is because some apps weren’t optimized for the new A17 Pro chip. Apps like Instagram and Uber were some of the apps that may have been causing your iPhone to get hot. Apple said it worked with the developers of these apps to address the problems, so they should now be fixed in the latest updates.
If this is happening to you, the best course of action is to update your iPhone and all its apps and make sure you are mindful about which apps you’re using when your iPhone gets hot so you can avoid them until they get an update.
