Your Apple Watch Might Experience Battery Issues
One of the first things Apple Watch users noticed after they updated was that their battery life wasn’t quite right.
Many of us felt as if the battery life didn’t last as long as it used to. Granted, there might be a few reasons for this. First, if you’re using an older Apple Watch, then the extra features in watchOS 10 can put more of a strain on your already-aging battery.
Second, Apple tends to prioritize performance over battery life, and the new features and changes might be more demanding than before.
Last but not least, it might actually be a bug. As of right now, Apple hasn’t said anything about this issue in particular, so we’ll need to wait for a software update to hopefully get it fixed.
However, it’s also important to remember that it’s not unusual for your battery to take a bit of a hit during the first few days after you install a major software update. There are a number of processes that run in the background to optimize your Apple Watch and resync things with your iPhone, and we’ve often found that things settle down on their own after a few days.
