Share Your Passwords With Your Family

Sometimes, you want to share a password with your family so they can access a streaming service or other platforms you share with them. Now you’ll be able to use iCloud Keychain in iOS 17 to make that easier than ever.

This new feature will let you share passwords or passkeys with your contacts. Everyone in the group will be able to share their own passwords with others and update those passwords in the event they need to be changed.

Don’t worry; all your passwords and passkeys will have end-to-end encryption, so cybercriminals won’t be able to get a hold of them when you share them — and you’ll be able to choose specifically what you share and stop sharing any password at any time.
