Powerbeats Pro to Be Released in Four Fresh Spring Colors (Including Pink)

Apple’s Powerbeats Pro may get a fresh splash of warm weather-inspired colors, according to a rumor posted to Chinese social network Weibo.

Apple is expected to unveil these new colors soon and will sell them on its website and through retail partners.

According to the post on Weibo, Apple allegedly will be offering the Powerbeats Pro in four new colors, including:

  1. Cloud Pink.
  2. Glacier Blue.
  3. Spring Yellow.
  4. And Lava Red.

These colors are a breath of fresh air that reflects the fun-in-the-sun attitude people embrace during the summer.

These color choices will join the existing subdued color options, which include ivory, black, navy, and moss.

Apple currently sells the Powerbeats Pro for $249 and will keep this price point for the new color choices. The changes to the earbuds will be cosmetic only, so there is no need to change the price.

Apple is rumored to be working on the Powerbeats Pro 2, but the changes may not be as exciting as we hoped. The latest information suggests the next version of the Powerbeats will feature only a minor internal tweak to the current model. These internal improvements won’t be significant enough to warrant a dedicated announcement. Apple likely will silently roll out these improved earbuds and sell them alongside the existing stock.

Apple may be dealing with financial, corporate, and retail issues during this coronavirus pandemic, but you wouldn’t know it. The company earlier this year unveiled the new iPhone SE along with a new iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard. The iPhone SE has earned praise for its affordable price point and its unexpectedly powerful processor and stellar camera performance.

Apple also took the wraps off a new MacBook Air, a new Mac mini, and a new 13-inch MacBook Pro. Going forward, the company is expected to unveil the new iPhone 12 series and the Apple Watch Series 6 sometime this fall.
