120 Hz ProMotion Comes to All iPhone 17 Models

This is some good news for those people who love high refresh rates in their displays. The iPhone 17 lineup is expected to feature high-refresh-rate screens across the board.

This means that all iPhone models will feature ProMotion, an Apple feature that automatically adjusts the device’s refresh rate to 120Hz depending on how it is being used. 

While this might not be a huge issue if you haven’t experienced ProMotion, as soon as you see it for yourself, you’ll probably want to stick with a screen that has a higher refresh rate.

ProMotion technology also powers the Always On display of the iPhone Pro family, but it’s unclear if that will also be introduced to the base iPhone models.
