New AirTag and Find My Updates

Apple also released a couple of small updates for the new AirTags and the Find My app to help keep your data and phone number more secure.

Now, Lost Mode has the option to add an email address instead of just using your phone number. This feature will work with AirTags and other accessories that use the Find My network.

Additionally, if someone with an NFC-capable device, like an iPhone or an Android phone, taps on your AirTag, they’ll only be able to see your phone number partially.
