If you’re willing to get a device that’s a year or so older, then Apple’s Certified Refurbished Shop is highly recommended. Depending on the model and specification, you can find devices up to 24 percent off their retail price.

While they are only available online, most people will be hard-pressed to tell the difference between a Certified Refurbished product and a new one. They’re all thoroughly inspected, cleaned and outfitted with brand new Apple replacement parts if necessary. They come with Apple’s standard one-year warranty, too.
