Red Nightstand Mode

Apple has made it more apparent in watchOS 9 when your Apple Watch battery is low when it’s sitting on the charger. Rather than the traditional green digits, Nightstand mode will now show the time in red whenever your battery is below 10 percent — the same threshold that triggers low battery notifications and red indicators elsewhere. The battery percentage in the watchOS 9 Control Center has also been tweaked. It now appears in blue under normal battery conditions, switching to red when the battery reaches the critically low stage.
