The cases are not the only choices for the iPhone SE, though. Apple confirmed to The Verge that iPhone 8 cases are compatible with the new phone, too. iPhone SE Is a Scaled-Down iPhone 11
The iPhone SE is priced to replace the iPhone 8, but the budget handset is closer to the iPhone 11 than you may realize. According to the phone's specifications, the iPhone SE has the same A13 processor, portrait mode shooting, Qi wireless charging, Gigabit-class LTE connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.0 specifications as the ?iPhone 11. It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with MIMO, just like Apple's flagship iPhone 11 models.
AppleCare+ Costs $79, Not $129
Apple's iPhone SE is the company's affordable phone, and its AppleCare+ plan is cheap as well. iPhone SE owners can purchase AppleCare+ for $79, a $50 price drop from the $129 the company charged for the iPhone 8. That's significant savings for a plan that covers up to two cases of accidental damage every 24 months. Keep in mind there are fees associated with each claim. Apple charges $29 fee for a screen replacement and a $99 fee for a full phone replacement. Apple also is offering a Theft and Loss plan for $149.
Standard 5W Powerbrick Included
The iPhone SE is fast?charge capable, allowing it to charge up to 50% in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the phone ships with the smaller 5W power brick that'll charge the phone slowly. If you want the fast charge feature, you have to shell out for an 18W USB-C adapter if you don't already have one and a USB-C to Lightning cable.
