iOS 18 Support: Which iPhones will Get the Update?

With many new software updates, Apple drops support for older iPhones. Unfortunately, some new features are just too much for the older hardware to handle.

While it’s too early to know for sure, it seems iOS 18 will be another exception to this rule, meaning you’ll still be able to use it on some fairly old iPhones.

According to current rumors, iOS 18 will be available for the same models as iOS 17, which goes as far back as the 2018 iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. That means Apple will continue to provide updates to six-year-old iPhones, which is great for users with older devices.
