AirTags

We’ve been hearing rumours about Apple’s item-tracking tags since early last summer, ever since code for them was found in iOS 13. In fact, many of us expected Apple to announce them at its fall iPhone event, but when it came and went with nary a peep, we assumed that they simply weren’t ready.

However, Apple already included some of the technology to support these so-called “AirTags” in the new iPhone 11 models, so it’s been clear for a while now that it’s a question of when these are coming, rather than if they’re coming, and Apple’s competitors are getting nervous.
