No Notch
The notch on Apple devices is bothersome to some users because it prevents a full-screen display and isn’t very pleasing to the eye. However, it is where sensors for features such as Face ID are found and is an essential part of the iPhone. It was first introduced to the iPhone X, and the iPhone 13 may be the last lineup to feature a notch cutout.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported Apple’s plans to get rid of the notch in September. He says that a “punch-hole design” will be the replacement on iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models. It is likely that Apple will keep the notch design on the standard iPhone 14 unless it exceeds product yield goals.
