AirTags 2

It’s been quite a few years since Apple did something with the AirTags. Even though they’re a useful product, it hasn’t seen an upgrade since it first came out.

Fortunately, that might change in 2025. According to rumors, Apple might launch the second generation AirTags this year.

Unfortunately, we don’t have many rumors about this new product yet. It seems like Apple will keep the same design, so you’ll still need to buy a separate keychain. 

But the good news is that Apple is said to add a new Ultra Wideband chip that will let you locate and track your AirTag at farther distances, as well as some improvements to the safety features that will hopefully prevent the AirTags from being used for illegal purposes.
