Even if you look at it today, it might want you to buy an iPod Touch, even if your iPhone can do everything the iPod Touch does but better.
This marks the end of an era. Sure, the iPod din’t die after this generation, and Apple still updated the iPod Touch a couple of years ago.
But because of the iPhone, the iPod wasn’t as necessary as it once was, but thanks to the iPod and commercials like these ones, Apple learned what the customers wanted, and it even probable helped the company become what it is today.
