2 The touch Is a Great Workout Device
There are some reasons to use your iPhone as a workout device, especially if you have a wearable like the Apple Watch and want to track data (sadly, the touch is not compatible with the Apple Watch).
However, absent the Watch, the touch makes a compelling argument as a workout companion. It’s lightweight, easy to strap to your arm or carry in a pocket, and you can leave it in your gym bag or with your workout equipment at your leisure.
Also keep in mind that the touch can handle apps with ease too. If there’s a few workout apps you use, you can upload them to the touch and make it your go-to exercise device for both music and routines. Plus, less damage is done all around if you drop your touch while exercising than if you drop your iPhone!
