A Nice DSLR and Lenses

Smartphones have increasingly become cameras in their own right. Just look at the Galaxy Fold, with its six-camera setup. But if you were eyeing the Fold for its photographic capabilities, you’ll likely be better served by putting your money toward a nice DSLR setup.

For around $1,000, you can pick up a Canon EOS 6D body. That still leaves you quite a bit of money leftover for a couple of lenses of your choosing. Your Instagram pictures will never look better — and you won’t end up with a flickering display on your primary smartphone.
