2 Sprint
Sprint had previously announced a rather unconventional deal on the iPhone 8, offering customers who decided to lease (i.e., rent, not own) the device from Sprint up to 50% off the cost of their 18-month lease agreement. Interestingly, in order to even enter the lease in the first place, customers would’ve had to hand over their existing iPhone or Galaxy device — and would of course have to give the iPhone 8 back after 18-months. Sprint decided to update its offer on Monday morning, however. Instead of the whole ‘lease and give it back to us’ program, the carrier will simply give the customer an iPhone 8 in exchange for their iPhone 7 or Galaxy S8. Older devices like the iPhone 6s or Galaxy S7 also qualify for 50% off the purchase.
