iMovie – First-Party Video Editor

If you’re just starting out in the editing world, and want to get some experience without spending a dime, iMovie is the perfect option for you.

Not only does iMovie have everything you need to cover your basic editing needs, but it’s also Apple’s very own video editing app. That means that it’s bound to work better than other apps with Apple devices. So if you have an older iPad, this might be a great choice, too. 

Plus, it’s very easy to use. In typical Apple fashion, you’ll be able to start imposing videos and creating your own movies as soon as you open the app, even if you have little to no experience. 

If you’re somewhat of a more experienced editor, on the other hand, then this app might not have everything you need because iMovie’s features are pretty limited.
