You Can’t Use Face ID
In case you weren’t already aware, the iPhone SE does not have Face ID. Apple instead opted to keep Touch ID on the phone. If you have an older iPhone or never used an iPhone, Touch ID won’t be an issue. You’ll have to get used to its quirks, though – it doesn’t work when your fingers are wet or sweaty, and it takes a few seconds to open your phone.
If you are coming from a newer phone and want to switch to the iPhone SE 2nd generation to save some cash, it’ll be a difficult transition away from the convenience of facial recognition. Facial recognition is quick and easy to use. The only hiccup we’re finding out right now is that Face ID doesn’t work very well with facial masks.
