Avoid Sharing Your Location

Sharing your location all the time with every app you have is not recommended for two reasons.

First, it helps you keep your information private. And second, it helps to improve your battery life.

Some apps are constantly checking your location, even if you’re not actively using it at that particular moment. It’s best for you to check your apps and set them so they only see your location when you’re using the app, if the app really even needs it in the first place.

To manage your Location Services do the following:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to Privacy.
3. Tap on Location Services.
4. You’ll see a full list of all your installed apps that ask for your location.
5. Go through the list and tap on the app you want to change to allow different location access.
