5 Disable USB Restricted Mode
USB Restricted mode is a win for cybersecurity, but it might just test your patience. Basically, it prevents any USB accessory from connecting to your iPhone if it hasn’t been unlocked in an hour, which can be inconvenient if you want to charge it or use CarPlay.
If you’re annoyed by USB Restricted Mode, or you just don’t see yourself getting your iPhone hacked, you can disable the feature by going to:
- Settings
- Face ID & Passcode
- Then tapping the toggle to Green next to USB Accessories.
