Start Using Complications
If you are a new Apple watch user, then you probably don’t know what a complication is. Contrary to what the name might suggest, a complication is actually a quick action button that takes you to an Apple Watch app. Like how you can tap on a widget on your iPhone, it’ll automatically take you to that app. It can also show live information like the weather or the stock prices.
There are many complications to choose from, so you’ll have to test which apps you use the most and which complications are available for the said app. Once you know which complications you want, here’s how to add them to your watch face.
To change complications on your iPhone:
- Open the Watch app.
- Tap on any Watch Face at the top of the app.
- Tap on any complication you want to change.
- Scroll around and find the best complication you want to add.
Change complications on your Apple Watch:
- Press and Hold your watch face until you feel a haptic response and see a small animation.
- Tap on Edit.
- You should see Complications at the top. If not, swipe on your Apple Watch to the left.
- Tap on the complication you want to change.
- Scroll and find your favorite complication.
- Press the Digital Crown to confirm your changes.
