Update Your iPad
Keeping your iPad up to date is an important part of taking good care of it. Even if it’s not that likely, it’s possible that your iPad isn’t charging correctly because of a software issue.
If that’s the case, chances are you aren’t the only one with this problem. Not only that, but Apple is probably already working on a way to fix this issue.
Because of this, it’s important to keep your iPad updated. You can check if a new update is available and install it on your iPad by doing the following:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down on the left sidebar and tap on General.
- Go to Software Update.
- If there is an update available, tap on Update Now.
Wait for your iPad to get the update, and try charging it again. Remember that you can make your iPad install future updates automatically by also going to Automatic Updates and turning iPadOS Updates on.
