Update Your iPad Regularly

- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on General.
- Select Software update.
- Install any software updates available.
If you want to take it to the next level, you can also select Automatic Updates and disable this feature, so your iPad isn’t wasting energy searching for updates when it’s not necessary.
