Put the Address Bar Where It Belongs
One of the biggest changes in Safari for iPhone is the address bar. You’ll now see that Apple moved it to the bottom of the screen. Even though it’s easier to reach if you have a big iPhone, some people might still want it at the top where it belongs.
Fortunately, you can move it back yourself. And there are a couple of ways to do it.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and select Safari.
- Scroll down again, and under Tabs, tap on Single Tab.
The next time you open Safari, you’ll see the address bar at the top again. If you want, you can also do it from Safari.
- Open the Safari app.
- Tap the aA button on the left side of the address bar.
- Tap Show Top Address Bar.
The address bar will automatically go to the top. If you want to go back, just repeat the same steps and select Show Bottom Tab Bar.
