Extra Cloud Storage: iCloud+ or Google One

Running out of storage is one of the most modern tech frustrations, and it’s especially painful on iPhone when iCloud fills up with photos and backups. A few months of extra cloud space is not the flashiest gift on this list, but it’s one of the most practical.

iCloud+ ties directly into the Apple ecosystem, expanding space for iCloud Photos, device backups, and files. Google One is a better fit if the person moves between Apple, Windows, and Android, or if they store a lot of shared documents.

The trick here is that you can’t gift these subscriptions directly. Instead, you can send an Apple Gift Card (for iCloud) or Google Play credit (for Google One) with a creative note telling them what it’s for.
