Your Display Might Have Some Issues, Too
Many users have reported issues with their display after they installed iOS 17.
There are actually two ongoing issues right now. The first one is that you might see a pink or green screen on your iPhone that appears randomly. Trying to restart the app you’re using or restart your iPhone entirely should fix this problem.
The other issue might cause what Apple calls “display image persistence.” This basically means that your background wallpaper or some other items might “burn in” to your iPhone’s display. That is, even if you change wallpaper, you might still see the image of your previous wallpaper.
According to Apple, this isn’t display burn-in, which makes sense as it takes a very long time for that to happen to an OLED screen. Instead, there’s a bug that made it look like a burn-in. This was most commonly happening with the iPhone 15 lineup, but some older iPhones also suffered from it.
Apple states that this is fixed with the iOS 17.1 update, so you’re better off updating your iPhone as quickly as possible.
