Inside
If you love side-scrolling games, cryptic stories, and eerie environments, then you’ll love Inside. This game was developed by the team behind Limbo, a critically acclaimed indie game from 2010.
Inside might not have been as popular as Limbo, but it’s still a joy to play. When you start, you’ll have no idea what’s happening. The only thing you do know is that you’re alone, and you need to keep moving if you don’t want to get caught and die.
Just like with other games on the list, you’ll know the story of Inside by looking at its environment and making up your own narrative as you go. To progress, you’ll need to solve a lot of puzzles along the way. Most of them are pretty straightforward, but some of these puzzles will force you to think outside the box.
