Another major product expected to launch in 2025 is the long-awaited third-generation AirPods Pro. These earbuds have become a favorite among iPhone users, but the design hasn’t seen a major update since 2022.

Luckily, it seems like that will change this year. Apple is rumored to feature a sleeker design for the AirPods themselves, as well as a slimmer charging case.

By far, the most talked-about upgrade is health tracking. Reports suggest Apple is working on putting sensors into the earbuds to measure things like heart rate directly from the ear canal. That data would sync with the Health app, giving users another way to monitor workouts and everyday wellness without needing to wear an Apple Watch.

Combined with a new H3 chip inside, users can experience sharper noise cancellation, more responsive Adaptive Audio, and smoother device switching between all their Apple devices.

While some reports suggest that Apple may launch the AirPods Pro 3 alongside the iPhone, other analysts believe they could be delayed until 2026 due to production hurdles.
