iCloud for Windows
In case you didn’t know, you can access all your iCloud data on pretty much any device. That’s right; you can actually use a Windows computer and go to the iCloud website and access all of the data you’re syncing from your iPhone.
Now, with iOS 16.6, it seems Apple is adding more security to iCloud. Now, whenever you’re trying to log in to your iCloud account on a Windows computer, and your iPhone and Windows computer aren’t using the same Wi-Fi network, you’ll see a notification on your iPhone.
What’s more, if you want to log in with a verification code, your iPhone will tell you that both devices must be connected to the same network. Granted, it might be annoying for some, but this feature might save a lot of people whose account has been compromised.
