The next Apple Vision Pro sits in a weird place in the rumor mill. The most consistent reports point to a refresh that focuses on a processor swap to the ultra-powerful M5 chip, while leaving the current design mostly intact.

Even with a similar body, a jump in processor will definitely give enough power to Apple’s headset to become an incredible productivity machine, provided that there are enough professional apps for the job.

At one point, there were also rumors that Apple might change the headband to make the overall headset weight less and be more comfortable to use for longer periods of time.

Some positive rumors claim that Apple might still release the second-generation Apple Vision Pro in 2025, so we’ll have to wait and see if the company still has a surprise for us.
