Stage Manager for the iPhone
There was a rumor circulating before WWDC that Apple might add a version of Stage Manager to the iPhone.
Stage Manager is an iPad feature that allows you to have multiple windows and apps open simultaneously when connected to an external monitor, making it easier to manage your workflow and be more productive.
While the iPhone doesn’t have a feature that can do that, rumors suggested that a limited version of Stage Manager might be introduced during this year’s WWDC, creating a desktop-like interface similar to what Samsung did years ago with DeX.
Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, which means professionals won’t be able to use their iPhones for heavy workflows just yet. But who knows? Maybe iOS 27 will be the one.
