Search for Something From a Specific Website
When you search for something using any search engine, you’ll get millions of answers from across the web. While that’s great if you’re not looking for anything specific, it can be troublesome if you want to find something from a specific website.
Fortunately, DuckDuckGo makes it easy to search on specific websites right from the search bar. That means you won’t have to go to the website to find what you need.
All you need to do is go to DuckDuckGo and then type “!” You’ll see a bunch of options you can use from the get-go. DuckDuckGo calls these “bangs.” After you choose your option, enter whatever it is you’re looking for, and DuckDuckGo will take you to that site and show you the best possible results from that site’s built-in search feature.
If you know the name of the site shortcut you’re looking for, you can also type it right in after the exclamation point. For instance, if you type “!idrop duckduckgo” into the DuckDuckGo search bar, you’ll be brought straight to our search results for “duckduckgo” the same as if you’d typed started a search from the magnifying glass in the top-right corner of our site.
