Create a Sleep Schedule (and Stick to It)
As humans, we love habits. It’s just easier for our brains to follow the same habits every day, and it trains us when it’s time to go to bed.
If you’re having trouble sleeping, creating the right habit for yourself is very important.
Besides turning on Wind Down, you can also manually create your own schedule without using your iPhone or iPad. For instance, doing some meditation or light exercises or reading and journaling a few hours before going to bed is a great way to let your brain know that it’s the end of the day.
With practice, your body will understand that it’s almost time to go to bed, and it’ll make it easier to fall asleep. Keep in mind that you need to stick to your schedule for this to work. It might be hard at first, but it will be worth it.
