5 For the Casual Gamer: Pokémon Shuffle

Who is it for? Anyone who loves Pokémon and puzzle games.

Similar to Emoji Blitz or Candy Crush, players line up three or more Pokémon in a match to battle wild Pokémon. Players will be given a chance to catch the Pokémon they battled after winning the match. Pokémon become easier to catch the quicker the battle is completed.

Users can earn coins in battle and later exchange them for useful items to use in the next battle. Great balls and ultra balls make it easier to catch wild Pokémon. Once caught, users can assign their monsters to a team that will join them in the next round. Your Pokémon collection will grow as you solve puzzles and progress through the game.

The game is free to download from the App Store and has in-app purchases. Users can purchase jewels for $0.99 and up. In addition to the iPhone app the game is also available on iPad. You can also play it on a Nintendo 3DS.
