An Apple Watch is an amazing device to help keep you healthy and connected, not to mention that it can be a literal lifesaver, too.

Once you decide that you want an Apple Watch, you have a few decisions to make. You can pick the color and band option of your Apple Watch, as well as whether you want a larger case or a smaller case.

But one decision that’s easier to make is whether to opt for a GPS + Cellular model or a GPS only model. If you have the cash for it, we always recommend a GPS + Cellular variant — even if you don’t necessarily plan on keeping cellular service on it.

There are a few reasons for that. GPS + Cellular models can still dial 911 in the U.S. without a cellular plan. And if you do have cell service, you can stay connected and up-to-date without your iPhone nearby.

Luckily, the big four carriers in the U.S. are currently offering various promotions on GPS + Cellular Apple Watch models.

What’s the Deal?

Sprint currently has a great deal on the Apple Watch Nike Edition (GPS + Cellular). That’s the latest Series 5 model with Nike flair, all for $11.04 a month. That’s about 50 percent off the standard price with the savings applied as bill credits on your account. Other models can be had for even less.

If you’re not on Sprint and don’t want to switch, the other carriers have their own special offers.

  1. You can get an Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular) from AT&T for as low as $23.34 a month, about $250 off the sticker price.
  2. Current or prospective Verizon customers can get the same model Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular) for $20.83 a month, with the first month of cellular service waived. If you buy an iPhone at the same time, you can stand to save an additional $50, too.
  3. Last but not least, T-Mobile has some excellent deals on GPS + Cellular Apple Watch models, including the Series 5 for $20.84 a month.

If you don’t need the latest and greatest, you can also opt for an Apple Watch Series 3 or Series 4. While the latter model has been discontinued by Apple and the former is a bit older, both are still capable wearables and can be found for even cheaper than the latest edition.
